Sorry!

I no its been ages and im sorry for that. But im blogging now lol. Since last time very little has happened. Lessons at college are the same as before, BORING. I have learnt how to take a mould of the ear to be sent to create a hearing aid. This was really scary as the lecturer wanted us to do it on real people even before we had practised on a model.

Reading week was good but very little reading occured. Alot of shopping for warm clothes in both Derby and Meadowhall. I also made two trips back to liberty. Cant keep away from the place. I also went to the fair which was great. I love the fair as it always has a great atmosphere.

Last night was Bethans birthday party. We started drinking at the flat and then went out into town dressed in fancy dress. I was a fairy. We went to Ocean where Trent where hosting the Kinki Kobwebs night. Everyone was dressed up, some were good, some not so good. I have never been pushed and kicked so much in a club EVER. I put it down to the club being over full.

Its been a while

Ok so thursday we went to De Montfort, it was a real mess, non of the staff knew where we were sposed to be and we didnt either. We had been told to wait in reception, so we did wait, 2 HOURS. The lecturer was finally contacted and we set about doing some proper audiology. We looked at each others ears which was quite scary but got easier as we went along.

We went out on thursday night. Big mistake we got quite drunk and ended up staying at lou's cousins, we arrived home to change at 8 and had to be at lectures at 9. Me and Lou felt terrible for the whole day. Mum came to pick me up in the afternoon and even cleaned my room for me. Although i did alot before she came.

Friday night was spent with luke and his friends round the buzzing town of Matlock. I was driving as I had vowed never to drink again after thursday night. We ended up in the PAV where this famous guy off of Hollyoaks was appearing. For those that watch it was Calvin Valentine. For those that dont watch dont worry. I got in that night a slept for a long long time.

Saturday Luke cooked spag bol for me in the evening although i ended up doin most of it as he dint know what to do.

Sunday was spent in bed and with Dad and Carol. I went to see Gizmo and Alfie. O how I miss them. We went for a meal in Nottingham, Luke came aswell. We had lovely food with soul music playin in the background, Soulville Steakhouse near Gatecrasher and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Monday was a college day so nothing really exciting happened. But tuesday was my day off and with Luke having the week off we spent it shopping and havin a really nice pizza in Pizza hut. We then picked up his sister to take her to Rock City to see The Enemy and continued onto Topshop for the student discount night. I got a top, (black of course) earrings and some bangles, all to get a goodie bag that was naff. But they were good buys so im not that bothered.

Then today wednesday, another college day being taught topics that we already know. In some cases topics that yr9 do.

I will be home a week on friday for reading week where we are suposed to catch up on our reading. Of what im not sure as we havent started reading anything yet but hey.

The Weekend

On friday we visited De Montfort uni itself. What a waste of time that was. We cant join any of the societies because we are not based at the Leicester campus. So friday on the whole was a boring day, until Luke came to see me. Saturday was spent wandering round nottingham looking for things to purchase, nothing caught my eye so i came home with the ingredients to make spag bol and a toffee pavalova. Lukey Boi came over and started to help me cook the spag bol that me, luke, lou and jamie were going to eat together. It came out a little bit runny and there wasnt enough spagetti but it tasted so yummy. We had decided to go round nottingham so started drinking early to make he night cheaper. Lou curled my hair,

And it still looked good after being slept on.

On sunday i went shopping for some much needed food with luke. Just before Luke was going to leave we found that the bathroom was flooded. We had wondered before then why there was a small puddle but thought nothing of it. This time we could see the water dripping from the ceiling. The puddle was massive, so we informed the senior tenants who in turn informed john. John arrived soon after and went upstairs to investigate. He came back down and informed us that there were chinese girls living upstairs and instead of removing the hair from the plug hole had allowed it to bild up. They had coninued showering and eventually with the water not being able to drain away the shower had overflowed. They continued to shower and it had come through the ceiling into our bathroom where we had to clear up. Apperently the chinese girls were rich people and were used to having servants at home. They had not emptied bins or cleaned there flat since they arrived. We were not happy cleaing up there dirty water.

Monday was our first proper lectures, they were enjoyable and we finished early for the day. We then decided to Wii which took forever.

Today we had off which was generally spent in bed and doing a small amount of shopping for bits and bobs for cleaning the Flat.

Decorating

Yesterday we decorated.

Today we won the treasure hunt!! We won jason it was really good fun. Mum and Brian came up to see me. we had lunch and sorted the things they bought from home. Apart from they forgot my tv remote so i cant play in me Wii but hey not the end of the world.

Thats about all the interesting things that have occured in the past day. Sorry to be so boring.

Starting the course

Ok!! You no the routine by now. I write random stuff thats gone on in my life, for you to read about. On monday i started the course, there was a lot of talking bout fire regualtions and that kind of fassizzle. It was really quite boring. That evening i went to the flat party but me and lou decided that we were gong to have a few drinks before hand to make it more bearable. We had two large vodka and cokes and went over to the second years. There was vodka jelly shots and punch. It was a good aprty compared to the rest of them but we still downed a few drinks before heading out into town.

There were alot of drinks drunk before unknowingly to us ending up in a gay bar to use the toilets. It was the wierdest thing, men coming out of the ladies is extremely strange. And then the barman refused to serve me for two waters. I argued im paying not just using the toilet as he implyed we were doing.

Tuesday morning was painfull. The hangover from hell and we had a small test in the afternoon to check we havent got any learning difficulties. Luckily the hangover was clearing by this point.

Luke came over in the evening and i cooked some mean fishfingers curly chips and beans, pictured below.

Today we went to the audiology school and met the main man. We finished at 12 so we went shopping to buy decorations for the flat as we appear to have been dragged into hosting a party on friday night. I also purchased some rip off Ugg boots, the real deal is £140 I paid £6 BARGAIN. WE then decorated the flat with the bits we had bought but we have now ran out. We are currently cooking chicken.

First night out

So yesterday, I ventured into Nottingham to do a spot of shopping, on my own. It felt so good to walk out of the flat and not have to tell anyone where i was going or what time I would be back.

I purchased two rolls of wrapping paper to cover my notice boards and had my nails french polished. When i got back my flat was full apart from leanna who moved in on friday like me. So I introduced myself to Bethan, Ketch and Louise. And then set about making myself usefull overing my services to the others. Whilst not helping them i was covering my walls with the paper. They look MINT. But I have ran out of paper so will take photos once they are finished and post them.

Me and Leanne discussed going out on the friday night and decided on the saturday morning that we would try and get all the audiologists out that evening. Leanne was at work till 8 so by the time she got back to the flat it was 9. We rallied up the people wanting to go out. All from our flat, Beth, Me, Leanne and Lou. Two of the second years said they would join us to make sure we were safe and all that.

It was a fantastic night and we all got along really well. I can see this year being a wail of a time.

Moving In

Ok so at 8 this mornin i was rudely woken by my mother. It wasnt a rude awakening but at 8 in the morning, its surely classed as rude. All the normal getting ready process applied. Then came the packing, I thought just a few final bits, a suitcase and a crate later I was ready. Then a quick fishfinger sandwich for the hunger, cooked by me. At 1 we set off for Liberty Square. At 2 we had been in the lift at least twice and were well on our way to making the place homely.

A small improvement but not brilliant. Theres still alot of things to sort out but they will have to wait.

Ok here goes!!

Whilst asleep last night I had a dream, to be honest I dont remember it but somehow it gave me the great idea of starting my own blog. This will allow people at home that are hopefully missing me to read about the things I am doing or not doing as the case may be. My intention is to write regularly but past experience of keeping a diary leads me to believe it wont last long. But you could always drop me a txt or a phone call and remind me.

I am currently suposed to be packing or at least sorting a few things out, but im a student now so im still in bed. Start as I mean to go on. Lol. My room looks like a bomb has hit it. I currently have a crate of shoes and bags and one of staionery. I have also sorted out my make up draw as i cant take it with me so all the make up I might use is in a pink case ready to move with me. I must add that this make up is not the regular use stuff just the pieces that i cant throw away incase i do one day require that certain colour eyeshadow to wear with my outfit.

Tonight its the last supper with Kay n Lotte. Italian food and hopefully plenty of cocktails. Im going to miss my girls, Trevin in the Auto-mobile with the extremely trendy shades on and that song on that requires hanging out of the window and singing at strangers. But hey ill be back for a month at crimbo and weekends before that.

I also had a meal with my father and carol on friday. Frankie and bennys yum yum. It was lovely to spend my last night with them like that but it reminded me that I wont be able to see them as much as I would like. I hope Gizmo or Alfie dont forget me.

Saturday night I spent up Ripleyshire. The last time for a while. I kinda felt like the odd one out as I was with all Lukes work mates so they were all male. It all kicked off with Callum my ex being up Ripley also. Luke being the protecive boyfriend that he is dint make things that easy but it was all sorted out by sally. Although I thought I had it under control I was assured by her I did not so she "sorted it out".

Sunday was spent like a lot of sundays recently, making the most of the time ive got left with luke. We treved to mine for pizza but in true student fashion I managed to burn it. I was not amussed.
